What paintball gun should i get... a pm8 or a etek2?

Save your money and upgrade your Proto Matrix Rail.  Since I own the Special Edition, my PMR already came with a number of factory upgrades.  I switched out the stock board for a Tadao Technologies Musashi 7 and switched barrels to Eclipse Shaft SL II and Dye Ultralite.

As much as I love slinging paint with my ETek1, I give my Proto Matrix Rail SE equal amounts of playing time.

I would get an etek2. The PM8 is too expensive for what it offers. Plus, the etek is more air efficient.

I guess its also just personal preference.

I would go with the ETEK2.

I dont know where you live, but the PM8 doesnt operate well in the cold, and it has some maintenance issues.

The ETEK is a good operating gun.
