I'm looking to buy a pair of ice skates and I'm curious to which ones you recommend. The Bauer Supreme 50 or the

CCM Vecto V8.0. Which is a better skate?

  1. Are you trying to figure skate or play hockey; these sound like hockey skates. Reidel figure skates would be ok if you can't buy customs. However your best bet for customs would be KLINGBEIL

  2. I think the best option for you is to find someone who uses either of them and ask people what they think about those skates (advantages and disadvantages) ask them if they had to change their skates which brand they will choose. By asking someone who is already skated in them is good (don't be shy). You can also ask advice from one of the coaches, they will know better they have been in the business for years and they usually know what skates their students used and which one is better than the other.

I am personally can't give you advice, I have never came across those skates....

  3. Neither skate is better. Jacksons are the best skates. They are custom made to fit your foot, and they don't scratch easily. Now, whichever skates you choose, you need to cook/bake them. Ask a coach about it. I know it sounds wierd, but you actually put your skates in the oven at a cetain temperature for a certain ammount of minutes, and then put the skates on your feet. The skates don't burn you when you put them on. On the contrary, they feel rather warm and cozy. Whether you buy Jacksons or Riedell or Bauer Supreme 50 or CCM Becto V8.0, remember that its the heart of the skater that really matters!

    Good Luck Shopping For Skates!

  4. well my choice would be the ccm they have much more they are more stylish and you can have the blades in three different types the ccms would definatley do it 4 me ccm is a very good long lastin hardware brand that have produced ic skates for a very long time and are very good they are also very strong thank lucy

  5. These sound like hockey skates not figure skates.

If you want figure skates and you do want to go customs, Riedell would be a good bet. However if customs are what you want Klingbiel is a good choice
