I have a great friend who is in love with a guy from England. He was here for a year and then kicked back to England for some reason. No he isnt a criminal. She got a call from him and went to England. Saved 1000 bucks and then was kicked back to the USA once she got to the airport. She wants to meet him in mexico and then get married, so they can have a dual-citizenship in England and US. Please help. Its been a year since they've seen each other, and they really need each other. Either answer me here, or please email me at ammajo@gmail.com. Thanks

its the web page of the ministry of foreign affairs

  2. If he is to Mexico going as temporal visitor, he only needs his British Passport and return ticket.

  3. Sounds like they both  could have a minor some  of crimminal record or overstayed their visas, or they would not have been "kicked back."  There may be more to this story than they have revealed.  Anyway, just because they get married they will NOT have dual British and American ,citizenship.  Each would have to apply to immigrate as a spouse...a bit easier than immigrating cold turkey, but definetly NOT easy.  Takes a long time and they would be separated a lot during that time.    If he was in the states and was thrown out after a year, it was because he OVER STAYED.  British citizens may stay 90 days in the U.S. ...unless they apply for a b2 visa...then they can have up to 6 months.  Since he violated that...he will NOT be welcomed back.  She may have had same type of circumstance there.  They need to carefully research immigration possibilities through the U.K. embassy and American embassy.  There are many couples from different countries who have married and then try to get citizensgip for their spouse...and have a great deal of trouble.  There are also fiancee visas they could check into...but...again...if they overstayed visas in the past...they may have sunk their chance for another visa in the future.
