What parks are near Salem Oregon and are open 24 hours/day?

What parks are near Salem Oregon and are open 24 hours/day? I want to see the meter shower this week and I don't want to go all the way to the Cascades. Are there any parks a short distance from Salem, Oregon that would be a good spot to see it?

Parks in the city will have too much light pollution.  You won't get that good of a show.  Your best bet is to go away from the city, out into the country, and find an area to pull-off at to watch the show.  I don't know where you're at, but for instance, north of town, outside of Keizer & Brooks would probably get you a clear view, without actually going out into the middle of nowhere.
