  1. I honestly don't think there is any relation. The french Revolution happened two generations before the German unification occured- In  the meantime there was Napoleon, Waterloo and the rise of Bismarck.

    True enough- France was the "scare" which Bismarck used to force unity on Germany- but that was Napoleon III who played Emperor there


  2. In brief, The threat posed by the new citizens army in France scared the independent German states into unity with the Prussian state.
