  1. Geelong, Geelong, Geelong...

...And for all you people who don't like AFL get off the fu*ken thread

  2. My team winning!! ANd iuno just watching the game. Watching teams/players develop. The fast pace too. ANd the skills of judd cousins kerr cox. ANd other players too.

Ohh and th hot players =]  But thats not th main reson of course...its just a bonus!!

  3. I am from Queensland so therefore am pretty well a Rugby League supporter (with a drop of Rugby Union for good measure).

However the parts I like about AFL is the fact that girls and boys can play it (and are both very much encouraged) as kids and it seems to be quite fair for both genders. This is VERY different to Rugby League which is extremely sexist and old fashioned in its attitudes towards females playing (not too mention how the top teams treat females - but we won't go there)

The atmosphere at games even here in Qld where it isn't super well known seems amazingly electric. I know a lot of people who go to the lions games and don't even really know that much about AFL.

The skill level in the game seems quite high but what I don't really like is that the games seem to go on forever.

  4. Speccy marks & intelligent play.

  5. %

  6. Can I think this over a bit longer? I can't think of anything at the moment.

  7. the emotion, the tenacity, the atmosphere, the pace, the hits, the marks, the smothers, the spoils, the goals, the victories...

  8. Looking at the players. They look so s**y in their little shorts.

  9. Perving on the players!

  10. The crazy pace of the game!  I feel like there is no faster sport in the world that can keep my attention for a long period of time.  I think it takes the best of futbol, rugbee, and gridiron and throws it all into a big oval pitch!  I think there is so much skill and precision involved in this game, endurance, kicking strength, kicking accuracy, and I'm surprised it doesn't have more of an international stage.  I guess the question is: what don't I like about Aussie Rules?  I'd play it myself if anyone knew how over here in the States.  It's heaps of fun!

  11. dont like it.

  12. Beating Collingwood and Essendon is a start but apart from that I would say the wonderful skills on display in any given match and the obvious hard training the players undertake to stay at such a great level of fitness (even those on drugs!!!).  Played at the top standard I think this sport is unmatched by any other it is so exciting to watch and see the high marking players do their stuff and see the great speed and/or endurance on show and getting highly agitated when a game is so close just before the final siren.  The crowd getting stirred up is also a marvellous thing to be part of.  Hope you are not a Collingwood or Essendon supporter????  Oh my biggest thrill was to see the Swans win the premiership in 2005 live at the MCG after 72 years without one.

  13. all of it

  14. the end
