  1. Earthquakes can happen anyplace.  We just had a a series of tornadoes this afternoon north of Denver.  Generally the mountains do not see tornadoes.

  2. Generally there are not tornados west of I-25 in the foothills (which is a main interstate of Colorado runs North and South directly up the middle).  Although after seeking shelter today and watching a funnel form above my bank... it's a different story.  Generally anything West of the interstate is close to the mountains and we won't see that.. Weld county (Greeley, Windsor, Severance, Firestone) and more out east always will have the tornados.

  3. Earthquakes - none

Tornadoes - the mountains -- instead you get straight-line winds with tornadic intensity.
