What part of Spain is Catalan spoken?

  5. The Cataluña region of Spain and Valencia areas of Spain.  A major Catalan city is Barcelona!  Hint: speak Spanish instead, because Catalán is harder and virtually everyone in Spain speaks Spanish. No offense to Catalán.  I think it's a beautiful language, too.
