  1. You cant go back in time, but i wish i could there would be so much i would change.

  2. point horizon

  3. We cannot yet prove that a black hole would send anyone back in time at all.  Even if it did, it would only send their pulverised remains back in time, because they would be long dead:)

  4. A black hole cannot send you back in time. It is a combination of matter so dense that the gravitational pull it exerts on other matter is strong enough that nothing can escape. Even light, the fastest thing around, cannot escape. That's why it's "black." They're also called "hidden stars" which is exactly how they're formed: from stars that ran out of nuclear fuel and contracted into a dense black hole.

If you were to get near to a black hole and cross past a certain line (the "event horizon"), you would be sucked in. The pull would be so strong, you could do nothing to escape. In fact you'd be pulled to pieces and obliterated by the strength of the force. No traveling back in time if you're in bits & pieces.

To travel back in time, cosmologists say you'd need to circle around two cosmic strings passing each other at the speed of light. Alternatively, you could go through a wormhole (although some surmise that the openings would form a singularity before you could get in!) Another method would be to construct a time machine out of an extraordinary amount of matter (I think it was like several of our sun's masses).

I for one, don't think it will ever be physically possible for us to go back in time.

  5. i dont think a black hole could do that, it might, but i dont think were going to send any people threw one any time soon. lol ,  a worm hole probably, but still no one is going to try to go threw one to find out, it might lead to another dimension , maybe even further in anoter galaxy  but not back in time

  6. A black hole is not a hole. Are you sitting down??? A black hole is a neutron star, meaning solid nuclei. There is space between the orbiting electrons and the nucleus of every atom. If suddenly, that space were to be eliminated, the matter would collapse. If this were to happen to the Earth, it would fit inside a 5 gallon bucket - - - and still have all it's weight - and gravity. Black holes have nothing to do with time or temporal distortion, Having such density, the gravitational attraction is so astronomical, light can't even escape, thus giving them their black appearance. Pretty scary, Eh.

  7. it is impossible to determine what occurs, so far, because  our instruments to measure what happens inside are  constrained by changes in matter, light and energy so extreme that observation is precluded....like using a brownie box camera to record volcanic activity at the ocean bottom;any instrument getting close enough to observe a black hole gets swallowed up
