  1. This is something you could determine very easily.  Touch one of the leaflets.  Observe what happens.  Do this with each part of the shoot system.  You would have to use a fresh plant for each test or wait for the leaves to get back to normal before trying it again.

    Note that there are special cells at the base of the petioles of the leaves and base of leaflets that collapse, thus making the leaf collapsed.  The response to touch is known as thigmonasty.  Check out the Wikipedia link for more detailed info.

  3. the leaf......there is apart called pulvinus(the connection of leaf to the stem...)when we touch the plant the water in the leaf draws to the pulvinus and it droops....after some times the water returned to the leaf and the returned to its original position........
