Do you think that it's the track, or the carts that hold the passengers?

  1. Top Thrill Dragster @ Cedar Point- It was the tallest and fastest(I'm not sure if it is still both) anyways it was really exciting!

  2. i think it's the speed of the coaster and when there's a loop in the coaster track...or if it was like a spooky house coaster where the carts go into a haunted house building

  3. I think it's the slow journey going up. You know at this point that there's no turning back no matter how bad you want to get off and then the first big drop comes and it's all smiles from here on out.

  4. I think its if the ride launches you like Top Thrill Dragster, Storm Runner, and Kingda Ka!

  5. That rickety sound that you hear when your going upa really tall hill!! It's sooo creepy!

  6. free fall

  7. I would say the lift chain because it is just that calm part before the storm (rest of the track). You know whats coming and you're so anxious and somewhat afraid to do the rest. I find it intense and exhilarating.

    Or

The first drop because you find yourself saying

    " HOLY c**p!!!!!!!"

  8. first drop.  If you're on a steel coaster with a big first drop and shoulder restraints, you can feel yourself lifting out of your seat.  Scary.

  9. Hey girl,

I think it's definately the track, because of the fear and excitement as you approach the top of the hill, just before  going over the edge of a really tall drop that you try and catch your breath for, but never really can. You gasp for a breath that you never completely get, as you go over the edge while picking up the speed. Now SCREAM!!!!!!!  I'd love to hear what you think!!!

  10. i'm gonna say the speed and the drops, the twists and turns.

the fear of the big drop, and the excitement of how fast it's going.

also the anticipation when you're waiting in line!

  11. i think ones that have medium sized drops that are fast and then some smaller ones that give you a chance to enjoy yourself. my  favorite rides are the jurassic park ride and the mummy ride @ universal studios california

  12. I think it's the speed and the track. Like if you're on a track with a lot of turns, steep drops, and loops and you're going REALLY fast, it'll just scare you.

  13. There are tons of things that give people that great experience of fear and excitement on a roller coaster.

Waiting in line for the roller coaster gives you time to contemplate what you are about to do. Watching the roller coaster go through its circuit while the people are screaming can evoke the "butterfly feeling" in your stomach. It's not too warming of a feeling to see this massive machine throwing screaming people around knowing that you're about to be on this thing. Deciding whether to hit the ride or leave the line eventually takes so much time to decide that it brings you up to the final moment when - guess what? - you're next. This is the your last chance to get on or off, which can get you pretty excited.

Then once you've decided to get on,  a sense of security comes to you as you notice the seats are safer than you thought, you're not going to fall off. The restraints come over you and you wait. Then someone comes down the seats to make sure you're strapped in right. Once the person is done feeling you, this is it. Hearing the "All clear, enjoy your ride" from the attendant who all he does is say that and press the big green button all day let's you know that you're about to leave. Your stomach begins to flutter as you slowly approach the lift hill. The lift hill. That annoying clink of the chain isn't really moral support to your rapidly beating heart, fluttering stomach and sweating palms. This is it. There's no turning back, that is unless the ride breaks down. You begin to think of all the bad things that could happen to you, but it's too late now. You approach the top and the chain lift makes one last loud noise as you possibly round the corner going to the first drop. Here it is. You raise your hands and hope for the best. As you wish for a painless death, you swoop down to your eminent doom. This is it. Smile for the photo shoot. Wee! Wee! Oh, no, it's over! But that's not the worst of your problems. Your picture shows you before you liked the ride! It's okay, at least the picture of you crying your eyes out as you hopelessly fall on the roller coaster isn't going to be in your high school yearbook. At least you hope so.

  14. i think its when you bearly start and when it starts going  in loops i guess... its scary but at the same time its fun.

  15. when out of nowhere it just drops down and ur going nearly 90 degrees

  16. I think its when you go down off that first drop becuase you got the fear going up the hill and now your going down and the rest is just a blur:)

  17. i would say it's going up that first hill really slow. if you sit there and just listen to the clicks as the car goes up the hill, it really messes with your mind. then when you finally reach the top and slowly creep over the edge, it's quite and adrenaline rush.

  18. speed

  19. For me it is all mental. I still after 20 years vividly recall the first time i saw the Magnum XL(worlds first hyper coaster)

that monster is huge. it truly changed the game on coasters.

  20. for  me the best part is when i am going up on the roller coaster and i look down to see all the people way below me
