I need to do at least one pull up this year(which currently I can't), so I need to know, what part of your arm do you use when you do pull-ups(aka chin-ups) and how can I make it stronger when work out? Any info helps!!!

  1. Biceps

  2. pull ups mainly work the bicep and back.

  3. biceps, and back mostly, you do have to flex your lower back and abs to keep your body from flying around but yeah

  4. pull ups are not the same thing as chin ups! so many people switch those words to mean the same thing.

Pull ups are done with the palm of the hand facing away from the body and they work a lot more of the back than they do biceps.

Chin ups are done with the palm of the hand facing toward your body and they work biceps.

Pull ups are harder to do than chin ups but both are effective good exercises.
