  1. We can swim any day in november.  Alaska will be a summer resort, England might not have so much rain and Canada just might stop sucking.

  2. No part of the world. If you read up on it, global warming will melt the ice-caps and will cause the northern hemisphere to freeze when the gulfstream currents stop.

  3. hmm....what parts will gain?.....well, the Al Gores of the world will benefit($)....the companies making everything related to Green($$)...the people writing books about it($$$).....the people writing book against it($$$$).....Movie makers($$$$$)...liberals who get guest shots that normally can't get them on tv($$$$).....and last but certianly not least , the Nobel Peace Prize and ($$$) that goes with it, to the person who finally proves it was all a bunch of c**p in the first place!

  4. Al Gore's ranch in TN

  5. Sure, some temporary gains but first you need to define how much GW... for example, CO2 concentrations of around 450ppm may produce a generally more congenial planet.

However, for me the big question would be:

If your small corner of the world became a bit nicer (e.g. swimming in Alaska, orange groves in the UK, snow "only" starting in November in Timmins), would you be able to enjoy it knowing that for others, their corner became much, much nastier (complete loss of island nations, water shortage wars, desertification leading to mass exodus and famine)?

Not sure if I could enjoy those oranges by the lake quite so much...

  6. You know, using common sense will tell us that yes there may be immediate positive changes in some areas of the globe. You know, like frozen areas that have been harsh and impossible to live in and now they are plush green and reveal ancient fossils and bones and cool things about our history. But with every Yin there is surely and equal and opposite Yang. Global warming in a long term bad thing. Sorry, that's the short and long of it.

  7. no part..

  8. Siberia

And for Lord Nirmal, Canada will always SUKK
