What pedals should I get for Specialized FSR SC comp. Flat or clips?

I just won that bike on eBay. It is an awesome bike. Even though it didn't come with pedals. What pedals do you think are suitable for it? Flat or clip (I will need shoes as well) It is going to be used mainly on light tracks and roads (South Florida).

  Thats a good question. If you're not going to do any "free-riding" stunts as depicted in many videos, I'd vote for the clip peddles.
