  1. mountain biking aye metal pedals to go for wont snap on you if you hit a rock

  2. What kind of bike ?

  3. Can you please add some details about what kind of biker you are, how much you're willing to spend and what kind of biking you're doing.

  4. If you are going to spend only 20-30 pounds, then get platform pedals with toe clips and straps. Any of the more advanced clipless pedal systems will require that you get special shoes where you can mount the cleats. Those will set you back at least 40 pounds which puts you out of the price range.

You should be able to get platform pedals, clips, and straps for about 15 pounds, based on the last time I bought them here.

  5. i thought these were pretty nice http://www.universalcycles.com/shopping/...

  6. I'm assuming that you're looking for platform pedals, if I'm correct you might want to take a look at Straitline Pedals ( http://www.straitlinecomponents.com/prod... ) they're very low profile, light, and they look great, or Atomlab General Issue ( http://www.atomlab.com/pedals.html ) they too are low profile, and the price is right, and Kona makes some nice cheap pedals.  If you're looking for clipless pedals you might want to check Time, or Crank Bros.
