What people charge for cutting grass?

I have had my business for about a year and have not had any complaints so far but sometimes feel I don't charge enough it seems my jobs pay for the next one with gas prices now. What would somebody charge for average yard which is usually 1/2 acre to 3/4 acre.I include mowing,weedeating, blowing off driveways and hedges if there are any. I also haul off trash from rental units. my main customers so far are realty companies. I charge by the truck load $55 a truck load. What do you guys and gals think.I live in Augusta,GA

5 yrs. ago we had a service come & do our 3/4 acre for $40 a mow(usually once a week, rain or shine) and they did what you do...blowing, sweeping, etc. Then the gas prices were cheap. You should charge the same, but like EVERYONE else is doing...add a fuel surcharge. Labor stays the same but gas is over the top!

I live in Atlanta and in the metro area your looking at 100 - 150 for yards that size which includes pruning, blowing mowing, edging, weed eating and weed control program. all others like dethatching or fungicides would be coinsidered ala carte services your are charging about half price.
