I think americans are probably just as racist as other people....with very little difference...

I think it is also a negative and universal character of humans.....

I beg to differ, it's NOT just Americans that seem to be "racist".  There are IDIOTS of ALL races that like to cause a stir up with others.  British seem to be "stuffy" towards Americans, Americans towards other races, so on and so on. It's not RIGHT, for ANYONE to think they are above anyone else, we all put pants on the same, and breathe in and out.  Only GOD has the right to judge, and He will at the end of time.

Sweetheart I'm sorry about what you have been going through lately. I also think that putting a percentage on something like that is just as bad as the racism that you have been enduring. Do you understand what I mean?

Deal with people on a one to one basis and judge each person individually. Do your best to educate those who are ignorant to your culture if they are receptive to it. If they are not just move on and give the next person a chance.

The worst thing to do is to generalize like you, and unfortunately most people here have done. Otherwise...you become exactly what you hate.

not really sure but I have to deal with it at work. But there are some people out there that are good. I'm native american so I get alot of hateful stares and get followed around in stores alot.

i think everyone has some sort of racism in them whether they show it or not. it could be anything from stereotyping at first glance to choosing who you want your friends to be. so i would have to say about 99%
