  2. Individual sleep requirements vary; however, most people spend approximately 1/3 of their life sleeping.  Thus, a 100 year old person would have spent 33 years asleep!  

  3. If a person slept 8 hours a day, a 100 year old would sleep for 291,200 hours in their lifetime. Which is one third of the person's life.
