  1. Close to 70 %

    USA is a debtor nation.

Even worse is when you look at the average American's share of foreign reserves compared to a place like China.

The fact that Americans are actually in a negative position while a single Chinese person has a share is astounding.

  2. There aren't any statistics on that - but it's probably half or so, maybe more, at a guess.  And it isn't just low income people - many fairly high income people spend every cent, so end up living paycheck to paycheck.

If the question is, how many people have at some time in their lives, it's probably almost everyone who wasn't born rich.  Many people live on less than what they make and save some of what they make, so after awhile aren't in the paycheck to paycheck mode.

  3. I  believe a high percentage of people in the US live pay check to pay check. Its sad isnt it. The way the US economy is going right now you should doubt that people are living like this just look at gas prices. People pay a lot more now then what they used to to get to and from work, especially with gas guzzling cars.

  4. I do, so there's .0000000001 of a percent for ya!
