20% is coursework (speaking and listening, essays etc)

80% is the final exam.

I think it is: Language 60% exam & coursework 40%

& Literature 70% exam & 30% coursework.

2 pieces of coursework i think add up to 40 percent then the rest is exams

It depends on your exam board. I was with Edexcel (sorry, Edexhell) and for English language it was 40% coursework and 60% exam and for English Literature it was 30% coursework and 70% exam.

It depends on your exam board. For OCR 1900 Specification it is 40% coursework and 10% speaking and listening that your teacher should have asessed in class. I don't know the others but check out their websites for details.
