What percentage of Americans dine out each week?

I'm writing a book on chefs and need this answer for the proposal I'll send to agents.

90% that is bad tell the chefs to have healthy food on the menu

It's quite high, which I personally think is pathetic.

Hubby and I eat out maybe 12 times a year, and that includes fast food.  It's such a waste of money, and the food is never as good as what can be made at home.
