  1. More than will ever be known.

  2. When it came to power in 1933 the n**i Party had over 2 million members. Once in power, it attracted many more members and by the time of its dissolution it had 8.5 million members. Many of these were nominal members who joined for careerist reasons, but the party nevertheless had an active membership of at least a million, including virtually all the holders of senior positions in the national government.

  3. When the n***s first contested elections to the national parliament in 1924, it turned out that the party wasn't so popular. The 'National-Socialist Freedom Movement' polled only 3 percent of the vote, and in 1928, fell to 2,6 percent. But, unfortunately, after this, the n**i party continued to grow, and by 1929, had 130.000 members. At the height of its power, the n**i party had 8,5 million members.

It is hard to say how many Germans could be considered ~*real*~ n***s. Many joined the party, but not everyone could be considered an active member.

I'm half German, and half Swedish. During World War II, my father's side of the family, who are from Germany, fled to Switzerland, a neutral, unoccupied country. I'm 14 years old, and I have lived in Germany for 5 years. Even though my family wasn't involved with the war, I know the guilt about it that is felt. Today, you will find that most of the German people do not accept racism of any kind. Nazism isn't tolerated. I hope it will always stay that way!

  4. I have German heritage and my family fled before the n***s took power.

I have absolutely no stigma from my heritage. I wasn't alive in WWII. I took no action in WWII. I have zero guilt about WWII. I make the world a better place in many ways also because I don't hold the living responsible for what dead people did. I don't go around heckling today's Germans because most of them weren't alive in WWII.
