What percentage of Jewish girls is up to the Army standards?

I read that Jewish girls have to go to the Army. It's impossible for all of them to make it for the Army standarts. What percentage does it makes it to the Army every year?

Hi Mark,

It is very difficult to research the exact percentage of Israeli girls who serve in the army.  Most girls serve!  They begin at age 18 and they usually serve for 21 months.

They get the same training as the guys, but they also do office work, air force and support tasks.  They can also be found in checkpoints or hospital services.

They are very courageous and admirable.  They must be healthy in body and mind, single and not orthodox.

I once read that 35% of Israeli girls do not serve for one reason or another, mostly due to religious reasons. The IDF, as I understand it, finds a place for you in some capacity, if you are willing to serve.

its compulsory for the israeli girls to do the army, the are exempted if they are very religious, then they can do community service.

or for medical reasons, or if they are over 24 years ols, and lastly if they `are married.

most girls do administrative jobs, some become offices, but very very few fo to the front line.
