What percentage of Trypsin do you use for cell culture?

I have recently received a powder form of Trypsin and I don't know how to dissolve it?...I mean to dissolve in what solution and in what percentage?

  1. 2.5g/L trypsin in 0.2g/L EDTA in a balanced salt media (Han's Balanced Salt solution.  This will yield a 1X solution.  When I am passaging cells I will sometimes use a 10X solution instead.
