What percentage of a parent's check typically goes to child support in CA?

My friend and her boyfriend are splitting up... They have a 1 yr old son... I am curious to the normal amount/percentage of a father's income goes to the child if the father has the child every other weekend...

There are many factors that go into making the calculations for child support, including his income, her income, other children, time split on the care of the child, etc.
