What percentage of american high school students drive to school?

Probably about 40% of all high school student drive.

Considering that in most states you can't get a driver's license until you're 16 (in other words, in the 11th grade), and most schools are 9th-12th grades, it definitely can't be more than half.

At my school it was probably slightly less than half of all juniors and seniors.  Maybe about 20% overall.

im guessing 97% of high school students driving. i remember when i went to school. there was alot of cars in the parking lot.
