What percentage of americans are stupid? (please dont be offended)?

its just that lately ive been surrounded bu this whole 'america is stupid' just by friends, relatives and news. i know that stupidity is everywhere but is america stupider than other countries?

i think about 60 as a realistic guess...i mean its amazing, some people think california is a friggin country, most didn't even know who the secretary of defense is

No, it's what the media wants you to believe based on a small percentage. Unfortunately, right now, other countries are having a field day trashing the U.S. Not sure why so many people would care unless they had an inferiority complex to begin with.

you sound very jealous to me.I'm sorry if i'm wrong.Actually,no one is stupid,everyone has the potential to be smart,but some just don't want to be.Half our school is in honors classes including me so don't even start with the crappy as% sterotypes please.

I got this one nailed. In our society where "I'm the only one that matters""It's all about me" and "I know more than you" bunch of know it all's, I can tell you I am the only smart American and the other 250 millions are as dumb as a box of rocks.

We are like any other country, for better or for worse.

Jealousy can make people bitter, I suppose, but we are no different in statistics than any other country when it comes to intelligence.

I suppose when you have a larger mass of people it might seem as though there stupider. But i don't think that in general Americans are and more or less stupid than any other nation.
