What percentage of favourites win (not horseracing)?

this question is in relation to football matches, and any other TEAM sports ,where only one of two teams can win, not horseracing.

Dont really keep track of those, but you can find the records from sports betting magazines and calculate it.

The thing is, even if the favorites win more often, the bookies will offset it with odds.

Like favorite pay 1 to 2

While underdog pays 2 to 1

Sometimes odds are even worse. 1 to 15, 1 to 30, 1 to 100

bet 100 unit win 1 unit

With that in mind, even if percentage is 60 or maybe 70%

but if odds are 1 to 100, I wont place my bet.

So, those percentage alone is not much help(that's why I don't keep track of it).
