What percentage of science majors actually get into med, or dental school?

How many students get into medical school out of those who apply, and of those how many are science majors

60,000 people take the MCAT each Year.

34,000 apply to medical school

17,000 get accepted

Statistics say that about 50-60% were science majors (I personally think that its higher)

So out of 30,000-40,000 who take the MCAT, 9-10,000 science majors get in :).
