What percentage of scientists is women?

what percentage of scientists is minorities?

I don't know percentages in general, but I know that in my anthropology department (at the Ohio State University), the ratio of men to women is roughly half and half.  I do not, however, know of any minorities holding professorships in our department currently.  (This is not to say that minorities are usually excluded.  There are plenty of minority professors here in other departments, and in the anthropology departments of other universities.)

minorities 45% (most of today's scientist are  Asians, indians, plus black, hispanics and Arabs)

women --about 5%

In my field, biology, 60% of working biologists are women. I do not have the minority figures.
