  1. i don't think one should rely on statistics for such an issue and every notification of such an event should be investigated thoroughly and reported.

It's easier to forgive one child who lied than apologize to one we didn't believe.

  2. They don't lie about it. They have no concept of what is it, or why it would be innapropriate.

I would have the child checked out by a child psychologist.

  3. In many ways children esp toddlers dont really 'lie'....its unusual to have consistent lying as they dont really have the understanding for it at a yong age, and often if they tell convincing lies its something they've heard or been told and they are repeating it.

Also at toddler age they may not have an idea of what is innapproprate touching and whats not! So if they seem to have quite a lot of knowledge then I'd be concerned for their safety and well-being!!!

  4. I don't think they would lie about that.  I told my son what innapropriate touching was and only a doctor should touch him there if he has too.  He caught on. He had to get a rectal temp when he was 3 cause it was 105 and he was sleeping while the pediatrician did it and he woke up yelling "you pervert stop touching me!" I'm glad he caught on and knows lol!! Normally toddlers don't lie about that stuff.

  5. why should they lie unless it's true as there only young and don't really know whats going on i would sit down with the child it's better to find out if the person who is doing it is not telling the truth not the child.
