I'm not quite sure, my husband is not into engineering but he's a brick mason and as with everything do go by the years experience. If anything I might google it.

depends on how many years of experience and what your peers are earning.  In the first few years after college, 7-12% is about average.  After 20 years, raises are only 3-5%
