  1. it all depends what u earn. also it depends if u are getting emergency taxed ir not


  2. It has nothing to do with age, it is to do with the amount of money you earn a year.

    You are not taxed on the first £5535. This is your tax free allowance, which everyone gets. You are then taxed 20% over this up to £36000 and at 40% on anything over £36000.
