What percentaged does otb take out of your winnings?

Usually its 2% of the winning bets. If you notice, a $7.40 winner will pay $7.20 at OTB.

your right! most do...however some take more! in baseball it can get as high as 20%! whatever the market will bear? horse racingtake is 16 to 20% and they wonder why the wagers are dwindling!

None, OTB takes no further percentage, at least not in NY, they draw there profit from the state regulated "take-outs" just like the tracks

all tracks take out a percentage of each pool. Usually this percentage is around 25%. Most people that go to the track do not know this. People must understand, the track owner does not care whom wins a race.
