  1. aaaaarrrrgggghhhhh.  what is wrong with you whippersnappers??!!

its a camry!!!!!!  use your $400 to buy a wii.

why can't you buy a better car?   camrys are great for what they are but they just aren't worth modifying.  regardless of what you do to it it will still be a front wheel drive with very little personality.

can you even buy performance parts for a camry?  if you can find a cold air induction kit and exhaust it might make it a bit quicker, but for the gains you would get its barely worth the money.

18" wheels on a camry???    aaaaarrrrrggggghhhhh!!!!!!

  2. Okay the car is already a piece of junk and it will be in the ground within a year or two.... And you are probably young am i right? I am also somewhat young (24) but old enough to know regardless that thats an Effing waste of 400 dollars on a car thats so old and its not going to impress or make anything any better for ya other than to sound obnoxious or reduce fuel efficiency. Theres so many cool and better things to do with 400 bucks id never customize a car unless it was at least worth something or going to last a while.

Cars of any age also do NOT gain resale value when you customize or even spend loads of money. For example you could put 3,000 dollar chromes on a car worth 5,000 dollars guess what? Try and sell the car and its still worth.... 5,000 dollars. Sounds stupid I still dont get it but its a market reality. So if that car goes kaplut in 8 weeks or 6 months ur money is gone.

  3. I don't see why the cr would be ran into the ground...its only from 1990 and they have  good engine in that car.

Personally it sounds like you have already done a good job in making it look good, the big problem is when you start looking to make things go faster you generally will have to start spending alot.

Some cheap but generally useless options would be a new air filter, new full exhaust system(de cat) you would also get it super chipped but I'm warning you now..it will increase fuel consumption loads, but you do get alot of extra power in the low range.

The most fun part about doing up cars isnt the finished product its the actual doing of it, like the first guy said you wont make money but you can have fun !!!

  4. Dude, an 18 year old 4 cylinder Camry? You just don't have anything to work with there. Sorry, but $400 isn't going to transform an "econo-box" into a street performer.

Edit: By the way, my restored Firebird is worth more every year that goes by...39 year old muscle cars with matching numbers steadily increase in value, little Japanese cars don't!
