  1. These instruments were used in all periods of the European Renaissance... it was Baroque.  However, using them all together and in combination with more "modern" instruments (ie. violins) was something pioneered by Vivaldi.  He died in 1741, and the beginning of the Classical period is usually around 1750... so I would say late Baroque.

Hope this answered your question! :)

EDIT: Chessmaster- The concert flute was being used by the 16th Century... it fell out of favor in the 1800s, until around 1840 when Bohem re-engineered the key setup.  The flute used durring the Baroque was quite different than today's modern flute though.

  2. These instruments can be used in any period.....but together most that you named were used in the Renaissance, early, middle, and late !!!!!!! The flute is the only one that I'm not sure about.....I'm going to have to look that up to see exactly  when that came into play !!!!!!!
