ok. i want something that will cuddle and play. low maintnance, no odor (i am pretty consistant about cleaning the cage) and cheap to care for. its definately a picky thing, but i want something that will thrive on what i give it. oh yeah, i am in low teens, if that helps any.

the following is a list of pets i cannot have:

dogs- parents wont allow

cats- i hate

fish- boring and cuddleless

ferrets- mom is convinced it will turn on me and kill me

rats- parents wont allow

hamsters- too smelly

rabbits- had them, they were not good pets at all

ummm, ya. my parents are incredibly picky. so am i. anything would be extremely helpful... thanks!

  5. reptiles?

mainly in the area of bearded dragons or pythons.

they dont smell, but u can still bathe bearded dragons...beardies are very intriging! interesting and funny.

mine has a great sense of humor they cost a fair bit when u 1st get them (upto $500..) but after that its not even $10 p/wk ... they are low maintenance and if u give the time and patients u will create a bond with them its awesome ..  =)

they dont leave hair all around the joint they just shed their skin every so often...there are tones of sites to learn off...tones! lol  ... pythons are sort of the same deal but then again they're not so 'playful' they can be cuddly if they're tame but yerr...

    good luck!!!!!!!!!!

(oh btw...dnt get mixed up with netted or water dragons i was talking about bearded dragons.....xx)

  6. I would say you should get a bird you can teach it to talk and do tricks and they are much more affectionate then hermit crabs all they want to do is walk around and don't show any affection

  7. Cokatiel might work for you or a Peach Faced Love Bird the Love Bird is VERY lovie but can make more noise than a Cockatiel. You can most likely rescue one so it won't cost too much and you can look in the newspaper to see if someone is selling a good cage. Just a thought :-)

  8. Bird- very affectionate, poo does not smell at all, live long, develop strong relationships, as cheap as $20 for the bird

    Chinchilla- very cuddly, soft, playful

Chickens- surprisingly they are very sociable. Silkies are the softest and friendliest breed. They are small and easy to care for. Can be smelly. Give you eggs...

Lizard- Not cuddly but very cute. Rarely have to clean the cage, and can be sociable. The bigger the friendlier.

    Snake- see above

  9. How about a hermit crab or maybe a bird. Birds are lots of fun, my friend has one.

  10. you should definitely get a guinea pig. they are easy to care for, love to cuddle, and are very social. the only problem is when you hold one, they often need to go to the bathroom, and you need to have a towel or two under them at all times.

this is a great website for guinea pigs

    www.jackiesguineapiggies.com

  11. A Hermit Crab is fun. It won't pinch you, it's increadibly easy to take care of. you can make a little cage and design it's shell and everything.

  12. guinea pigs are easy to own and ya just feed em fruits and veggies. and no i dont think its going to be smelly like a hamster...mine isnt at least
