The 95 and 98 are for performance vehicles but not suitable for every car (or bike), would it harm my bike to use this fuel?

  1. won't hurt it, but it would be a waste of your money, go with 91

  2. 91 won't hurt. Lots of riders use 91 instead of the recommended "at least 85".  Regular in US is 87 octane.

Higher octane fuels have more non-combustible additives and higher flash points.   This keeps them from igniting too soon in high compression engines.

  3. I would think the 91 would be fine. The 95 and 98 may be to much octane for your bike. The highest octane I've ran in my Magna 750 is 93 and it ran fine. But it runs just as good or better on 87 octane, plus it's cheaper.

Do you have an owners manual? If not call your dealership and ask them what's the best grade of gas to use.
