  5. Many a mikkle maks a muckle.  Because I am totally sick of today's consumer society and the effects it has on people.  I am also a pensioner and need all of my muckles now that I'm not working.

  6. Many a mikkle maks a muckle - I've lived my life like that and it hasn't let me down yet.  Now as a pensioner I am able to holiday, buy (within reason) anything I want, and live comfortably -and I still watch my pennies.
