Question:

What phone line can i use other than bt or virgin?

I have a bt phone line and broadband but i want to change them both over the only one i know that i can change to is virgin but they say i have to keep my bt line. I dont want to be on bt so is there any others i could change to? Thanks

  2. Whichever telephone service provider you choose, you will have to continue to use your BT landline, because that is the only one there is.

  3. You can move to TalkTalk (International option), which is about £20 per month for line rental, all landline calls and broadband.

    Although some people moan about Talktalk, I've never had any problem with them myself and it's a much cheaper option.  

    Until recently,I would have thought that what  Origamimark (above) said was right, however when my relative joined up with Talktalk a few weeks ago - they told her that they physically changed the connections at the exchange and that it was a Talktalk line not a BT line - don't know how true that is.

  4. All Telephone providers apart from Virgin Media Cable use your existing BT Line.
