What phone service should I get?

I am deciding which service to use. AT&T or Verizon. I love the Sony Ericsson w580i from AT&T, but my brother doesn't like any of the phones. He wants Verizon and I want AT&T, but we're gonna do a family plan. He says that all his friends said Verizon is better.

I'm not sure which one to get either now, but I really want AT&T.

at&t or verizon they both have great service but  verizion hasway better phones for a better price

Verizon has better service and better phones for a good price. I should know there my service.
