What phone would u recommend from verizon wireless?

I want a phone that will be easy to text and easy to use i don't want one that has a touch screen because i feel like i would crack the screen if i drop it. i was thinking about the black berry pearl but that might be to grown up and it might have to many things on it like email and internet. and it doesn't look like its easy to text on. I'm only 16.

I'm thinking about going out and getting the LG Dare...basically the iPhone version for Verizon
