whats weird is that i had the same question yesterday when i got my phone

i would stick with the env2 since texting is really easy and the front screen does everything you want it to

however if your one of those people who can txt really fast with t9 venus wont be a bad option. But they both have a great 2mp camera and nice speakers. My choice; go with the env2

right now your local walmart might have a great deal on it 2. env2 is 67$, however at some locations they drop the price by 20$!!! to 47$.

The enV 2 is great for texting and AIM, so if you do that a lot get the enV 2. Otherwise, I'd get the Venus because the text pad would be a waste.
