and how come you can zoom in the photos as much as you want but the photos will still look smooth...

probly in photoshop using the blurr tool and high contrast

blur some points to make it looks clearer - they using this tool on the skin usualy

She might have a soft lense, I know someone who has one & her pics look like that.

Looks to me like she had the white balance set wrong.

And why would she have the camera so close to her face that her nose looks huge and distorted? Is that on purpose?

Why do otherwise perfectly attractive people keep doing that to themselves?

Wide angle lens + too close to face = terribly distorted nose, lips and cheeks.  What part of this don't some people understand?
