What physical features separate india from the rest of asia?

  1. India is considered a subcontinent.  At the north, it is separated by the Himalayan mountain range.  To the east, another mountain range (although Bangladesh is smack in the middle of Bengali).  There are also mountains to the west that were VERY difficult to traverse.  So, basically, it's mountain-locked (what today is India, Pakistan and Bangladesh).


  2. hairier body, most don't have slanted eyes and usually beige complexion.
