Don't go to Fountain Park, it's all closed down now, don't know when the last time Matt30 was there but it's all been closed for a couple of years... Lothian Road is OK if you're up for a student night, if you are looking for something classier get down to George Street, there's brilliant bars and clubs on both side of the street. As long as you're dressed nice, smell nice and have good chat up lines you'll manage to get a 'pick up' anywhere. Have fun.

There's Brannigans at Fountain Park (name might have changed to Waikiki Bar or something like that) and Espionage on Victoria Street.  These are the only two I can think of.   You are best to go to Lothian Road though as most other places are either student orientated or a bit too classy to be called pick-up bars.  Oh I forgot about the Sub-way West End, that's on Lothian Road.
