What piece do I need to attach extending rod on steering cable to the eye of te engine for turning.?

The parts department in the boat dealership can order the proper one for your motor- I don't know exactly what it is called, when you describe what you need, the parts department will know what it's called. I changed over a tiller armed 60 mercury to console steering last year and had to get the same part to convert it to console steering.

you need a steering arm then attach it with a bolt
