  3. It's a long, long time since I suffered the pangs of young love, but I well remember that when I was about 20 and broke up with a girlfriend of long standing I played Kathleen Ferrier singing 'Che senza' (from Gluck's Orpheus and Euridice) and Beethoven's violin concerto over and over again!
