  1. Irish martingale. Of the types of martingale the "Irish martingale" is used in racing and it's only purpose is to keep the reins from going over the horse's head if the rider falls off.


  2. where  has every one been its called a Running martingale

    also its used in Jumping etc

    in race track we call them rings

    yes they are used for that purpose But No standings are allowed in Grand prix's

    I use them for young horse's that I ride
