What place should I travel to?

Question

I am trying to decide where to take a trip to. I want to go somewhere I never have been before. That rules out:

USA (obviously)

Canada

Mexico

France

Italy

Germany

I want to go somewhere fun, but that I can learn a lot from. Anywhere is cool though. I'd also be traveling in the fall. Thank you!

I would go to South America. The US dollar is actually fairly strong in Peru and Argentina, and you'll have an awesome time for a fraction of the cost of Europe.

Peru is one of the most beautiful, diverse and historical places on the planet, and you will learn so much while you are there both in the educationally & personally. The people there are lovely, and many are incredibly friendly and generous in spirit despite the poverty of the country.

It's also a great place for young people. I studied in Cusco & Buenos Aires last year when I was 15 (though I look college age) and met so many cool people. I befriended locals, expats, and other study abroaders effortlessly.

If you're into nature & up for the challenge, the Inca trail is awesome.

Buenos Aires is one of my favorite cities. It has the cosmopolitan feel of France,  the electricity of NYC and an awesome vibe that is unique. Palermo Viejo is especially lovely and fun. There is great shopping, beautiful parks, great restaurants, amazing museums (MALBA is one of my favs) a killer night light and so much to do. I promise you won't be disappointed. The fall is a great time to travel because it will be spring there. The weather will be mild, the parks in BA will be vibrant & colorful. It's a good time for Peru, too.

I think  you would have a very enriching, amazing time in South America.
